The album also represents the theatre, the ‘house’ where I have lived for so many years as a performer, and of course where all of the music on this CD first came to life.
This is an album of theatre songs, created in a framework that is more than just selections; it is designed to take the listener on a journey. I am joined by Musical Director Scott Lacy, who arranged and played all of the songs on the CD. Lacy’s arrangements and playing are more like a duet than accompaniment. The purity and simplicity of piano and vocal arrangements is a favorite for both of us.
