What is a Letter?

Mark’s first album, released in June, 1997 to enthusiastic response, contains twelve songs from different genres - including two original songs - that come together to express the goodness, depth and spiritual meaning of life. One Southern California reviewer claimed the album “has the sound and feel of a theatrical/cabaret show with spiritual overtones … Jobson exudes a heartfelt warmth and depth that offer a comforting balm for the soul.”

The eclectic group of songs feature one of the first songs written by Judy Collins, Trust Your Heart, John Lennon’s Imagine, original songs Into The Light and Love in My Life, and I Sing the Body Electric, based on Walt Whitman’s poem Leaves of Grass.  Two songs from theatre composers include All Good Gifts by Stephen Schwartz and I Remember by Stephen Sondheim.

Mark is joined by Peter Sprague on guitar, and Scott Lacy, Teri Carpentier and Robert Mayberry on piano.
